Birds of Costa Rica
Most of these shots are in no particular order. Just examples from the five trips down there so far. Most of the time we were in the company of Noel Urena who is in my opinion one of the best birder/ photographers I've ever met. Noel is an excellent birding guide who also runs the largest Christmas bird count region in Costa Rica. His Birding guide website " Tropical Feathers" is worth a visit just for the photos.
With Noel and Luis, a friend of Noels, I had the opportunity to join in four surveys for the Dept of Conservation. They were wonderful experiences indeed. The link to Noels Tropical Feathers Birding website is at the top of this page.
Enjoy.

Paltry Tyrannulet up at San Gerardo De Rivas, Costa Rica. Plain but charming, this little guy was pretty insistent on getting its photo in the paper so to speak. It followed me around watching my every move and showing a genuine curiosity in whatever we were doing. So I thought what the hell lets get some shots and see if the Hollywood agents salute.
