The same Red-Legged Honeycreeper on the way up to La Amistad International Park, Costa Rica. Although one can't see a lot of the bird in this shot I find it evocative non the less. Perhaps because its typically how one sees these guys. Moving fast and flitting through the brush. Always keeping a branch between them and you. Basically just cropped and some sharpening and levels on this one, I know that background looks too arty to be real but there it is.
Pale-breasted Spinytail just outside San Isidro on the way to Bajo De Las Esperanza, Costa Rica.
Black-capped Fly-catcher at Villa Mills on the trail to Cuerici. Very friendly little guy, more curious than concerned.
