Summer Tanager at Talari near San Isidro, Costa Rica. Same Tanager, same branch, different place in the time continuum. I got a lot of shots of this guy and plan on boring everyone with more as time goes on. Sort of a bird filler.
Masked Tityra up at San Herado, Costa Rica.
Snowy-bellied Hummingbird. Up at San Gerardo De Rivas, Costa Rica. This species is very fussy about being approached. You have to do it in a kind of oblique way. Usually when you show no interest in them by stalking another bird. At that point they seem to get curious. Fortunately the "other bird" wasn't all that interesting so I was sufficiently defocused to notice this guy/gal.
